Perfumes! (Dior Midnight Poison, DKNY delicious night)?
Heyy lovies.
I need a new perfume. I want one for school that I can just wear in the day and one that i can wear out at night. Im only 14 , but i want a perfume that kinda describes my personality. I got a little tissue thing of DKNY delicious night in teen vogue and I fell in love with it. I think it's too much to wear during the day, so that would be the one i wear out at night. I was on Sephora and I came across Dior's Midnight Poison. I haven't smelled it yet but from the description it sounds nice. Have any of you smelled it, and if you have,do you reccomend it? Or any reccomendations for a light daytime perfume?

i think both of those are a little too heavy not only for day but for a 14-year old. maybe something with tea notes in it like the bvlgari perfumes.. my favorite is au the rouge. if you're still looking for something heavier, bvlgari notte is amazing which has notes of chocolate and vodka (sounds ridiculous i know).
there's also the popular ones, like clinique happy, d%26amp;g light blue, etc. american eagle's ';real'; would be a good choice too. whatever it is, it's good to stay with floral or citrus notes during the day because there's nothing worse than standing next to someone who smells too spicy or sweet!Perfumes! Check out both on YOUR skin, walk around with them for a while-sure you could get to spray some from a sampler. Have a friend with you and check how long the perfume lingers on you, how its smell comes out when you have it on, and what your friend thinks. It is a matter of personal taste after all.
A while ago I bought Narciso Rodriguez For Her because I fell in love with it at the airport. When I put it on, however, it hardly smells and if it does, it is not half as good as it was on the sample stick.Which Perfume? Dior Vs. DKNY?
I had j'adore and returned it. The other is okay, but not very chic. Buy the one that lasts the longest on your skin, and you think you won't tire of it after using it for months.
perfumes are very personal and you can't go by what they smell like on someone else. i would recommend going to the store and trying a sample and walking around with it on you for a bit then making your decision. it really does mix differently with your own body chemistry. another thought...go to macy's or somewhere where you can buy a gift package and get the body lotion and gel with the perfume and get more for you money :-)

I had the Green one. The red has much less of an apple odor, but still smells fruity. I like the green because I love that apple sweet smell, but it gets old after a while. When I was in Bangkok, Thailand, I went shopping at Siam Paragon (this big fancy high class shopping mall) and in their department store they were selling all the types of DKNY perfume (i mean the apple shaped ones) over there, they had 4 apple perfumes, Be Delicious (green), Red Delicious (Red), Midnite (Blue purple?), and then a Limited Edition one (It was an almost pink color). I'm positive it was in an apple shaped bottle. But then I looked here in America and they don't seem to have it anywhere! Can someone explain this to me please? I really wanted it but I thought it would be better to buy it back home instead of packing it in a suitcase (stupid me). It's not unusual for products to be packaged and marketed differently for foreign markets. I'm thinking ';Energy Woman'; although I'm not sure the perfume bottle looks like what you have described ( it doesn't look horizontal). Look at this:

Hi... Great question! I have been debating the DKNY or the Irresistible Apple from BBW. I order online because there is not a BBW in B.C. yet.
Here's my take as I was just at a department store and smelled the Be Delicious (Green Apple) and the Red Delicious (Red Apple.)
The Be Delicious was quite sweet and you could definitely smell the green apple in it. I could detect other notes, but the green apple definitely stood out.
The Red Delicious was also sweet, but not as sweet as the Be Delicious. It did have a red apple scent, but then it turned into a blossom smell as well. I preferred this one over the Be Delicious because of the sweetness factor. I like fruity scents, but the Be Delicious was a bit too much for me.
I haven't tried the Delicious Nights scent, but have been told it smells fantastic. It isn't an apple scent and described as a blackberry one. Mmmm... :)
As for the BBW scents...
If you order online there is the one from the Classics collection called Country Apple. I have this one and love it because it isn't overly sweet, but rather light and subtle. I use the cream and body spray and the scents lasts a pretty good time. Can't beat $21 for both items when not on sale. :) I would describe this one as a true red apple scent. It reminds me of walking through an apple orchard in the fall.

You could also get one of the tiny sample perfumes, or go to Kohls. Kohls sells the little tiny bottles, you could check there.
Wal-Mart always sells cheap perfume too.
Another place is to check on ebay, but you risk getting a knockoff.

ya i just went to a restaurant where the waitress had been working really hard there all day and i went at like 9 o clock at night and she smelled really good so i asked her what she was wearing and she said be delicious, so it smells really good and obviously it lasts a really long time through hard work too.
at macys i think it costs like 78 dollars.
Its ok. I wish it was a little more apple-y. That red one though (the red apple) I think its called poison or something, is TERRIBLE!!! It smells just like sweaty dive bar.
